It would be great if FIZA could put in to practice "Viva Wroldonian" through art acitivities. There is nothing more amusing and refreshing than creating art pieces by interacting with others and constantly breaking one's own mold. The ultimate dream would be creating art pieces with people from all over the world. FIZA was founded to achieve the goal. It will be nice to have a residency program in a quiet place in the future (it will be super if we could be self surficient on our food at the same time).

The reality is far from the dream. FIZA is now based in NYC which doesn't get really quiet even during the night. However, if you look at the city from different perspective you could call it as "The world's home town". There are people from all over the world and the city has an unique futuristic atmospher of what borderless world would be like. It could be possible to start a residency program here in stead of in a nice and quiet place. It would be nice to open up an art gallery and sell FIZA goods too.

It will be ideal if people(artists and artisans) in various countris, mainly the countries with financial difficulties, can create FIZA goods. If things go well they might be able to enjoy the creative activities as well as the financial improvement.

There will be workshops for the residency programs, art activities for kids in the neighborhood, collaboration projects with visually impaired people, sponteious art making with people who usually don't have access to art, international exchange programs to introduce various art groups, etc. etc....it seems like dreams have their own way of multiplying their presence.

If you have fun & feasible ideas what FIZA can serve better its global community, please let us know. Thrilling ideas, ideas that will make many people happy, ideas that will encourage people to challenge new things, and meet new people will be nice.

Dreams are dreams. In reality, FIZA needs to take the very important third step, "Shape of the Sound" Project: Breathe In / Breath Out. It will be happening during August 25th through September 6th, 2003 in Nishinasuno area in Japan. If you happened to be in Japan, please stop by to see what we are doing.
